Introduction
As a fast
expanding language training centre in central Birmingham, New Vision Language
Centre provides quality Mandarin Chinese, English and other language courses to
learners at different levels. Due to a recent quick increase in the number of students, we are
now recruiting an administration and marketing manager to assist in the development,
management and provision of language lessons within the Centre as well as
promoting and marketing the Centre to a wider audience of public. The
successful candidate will play an active role in the management, strategic
planning and administration of the Centre. You will advise for the Centre and assist the Director in
the daily operation and management of the Centre, including overseeing major
administrative and all marketing and advertising issues. You may also be asked
to perform other duties occasionally which are not included in the following,
but which will be consistent with the role.

Expertise/Competence/Skills
|
Being fluent in
both English and Chinese languages.
|

Proven excellent oral and interpersonal
skills. |
|
Proven excellent written communication skills. |
|
Good IT skills,
including use of electronic management information systems and MS Office. |

Teaching skills in second language
teaching in both English and Chinese are desirable. |
|
A full British driving license is
essential. |
|

Qualifications (IT/Academic/Vocational)
|
|
A degree of MA in applied
linguistics/TEFL or equivalent. |
|
|
Experience
|
|
Developing and
maintaining networks with wide public, particularly potential customers of
language courses. |
|
Preparation of official reports
documents and plans. |
|
Administrative or secretarial experience
in context of language education. |
|
Engagement in an English-Chinese
bilingual context. |
|
Teaching experience of both English and
Mandarin Chinese. |
|
Experience in long distance learning is
desirable. |
|
